I have tried the button pushing trick but nothing happens, Is my Fitbit now useless. Pity but I will not buy another as too expensive for something that lasts only a few years.

can anyone help re the brightness issue

Hi @Jimbob3  I have the Alta HR, too. There isn't anything we can do about the brightness of the device. The button trick is the restarting of the Fitbit, which helps with a few glitches, but it doesn't do anything for the brightness level. What else was happening to your Alta HR?
