Alta battery life draining quickly

Does anyone else's alta need daily charging ? Says its full battery and then less than 8 hours later needs to be charged again... the screen is so minimal I feel like you should be able to wear it for days without charging.

I have a similar problem only my battery shuts down completely for a few days then revives for me to recharge it for it to die again 8 hours later. Have e.mailed Fitbit direct with no response.

To maximize battery life, turn off or reduce your use of certain features. For more information about how to extend the battery life of your Fitbit trackers, please visit the following help article: Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?
