The screen works with the charger attached to it but as soon as I take it off the charger I can't get it to function I feel it vibrate but there's no screen is there some way to turn it on and off

If you are having display problems with your tracker, I recommend restarting the unit by following the instructions provided in the help article: How do I restart my Fitbit device?.
