My Alta device shuts down frequently after half hour averagely (the battery is fine). Tapping obviously does not work, and the device does not 'count' anything, and the app cannot detect the device.
The device 'restarts' and works fine as soon as I plug in the charger.
Help please.

Thanks for your efforts trying to solve this prior reaching out. According to Fitbit support you already contacted them in regards to your Alta situation and they sent you an email with more details. I suggest keeping an open communication with them.
