Alta is not working or charging

I pulled out my ALTA to give to a friend. I was going to buy myself a new Fitbit so she and I could link up on the Fitbit site for challenges. The ALTA is synced and it’s working when it’s attached to the power cord. But, when I detach it I get nothing on the screen (by tapping or turning it towards me). I have tried pushing the button on the cord 3 times with no luck. Advice appreciated.

Hi @SavannahLori Welcome to the Community Forums!. Thank you for your help and the information shared regarding the experience with the Fitbit Alta.

 

It seems that the Alta tracker is refusing to charge despite of being restarted so I would like to provide some additional tips to get it back on track. For this, I would suggest that you visit this help article: Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?
