Alta not working outside charging cable

My Alta wasn’t showing anything on the screen so I put it on to charge. Once fully charged, I put it on and the display still wasn’t showing. I restarted the device and it shows the info when charging, but not when on my wrist? There’s no water damage to it but I haven’t used it for a few weeks.
