Alta shutting down despite showing fully charged

While attached to the charger and synced shows fully charged but tracker goes off after few hours.. I’m not able to record my sleep or all steps as it shuts down completely.. please help.

I’m sorry to hear about this situation with your Alta. If the situation persists and you haven’t tried it yet, you can restart your device by following the steps in this link How do I restart my Fitbit device?
