Alta won’t set up

Alta logo (blinking) appears after hours of charging, yet 4 digit device identifier doesn't appear, which prevents completion of the connection to the mobile phone based app.

Thanks for sharing those details. Have you tried to restart your Alta? If not, you can find the steps to do it in this link How do I restart my Fitbit device?. Keep in mind that it’s important to check that your Fitbit app is up to date.

Tks Ana - cleaned the contacts and ever since the blinking Fitbit logo appeared and then disappeared I've seen nothing but a blank display. However, I can get the app to add the tracker to the point where I'm prompted to add the 4 digits, even with nothing displayed on the tracker, sure would be nice have a universal 4-digit "override" code that would work for everyone with this same issue.
