So we haven't used it in a year or so so I changed it and it says it's on 100 on my phone but it wont work so I restarted it and it still wont work

Hi @iDrxp unfortunately if the restarts (try several times) dont help, then there is nothing you can do. Generally it is not a good idea to leave Lithium ion batteries empty with no charge for extended periods of time - it tends to kill them.
