My Fitbit Alta keeps dropping in and out of blue tooth, and most times I can’t connect it with the Bluetooth

Hi @Casper21, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the details that were shared with me. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device are you using with your Alta? When was the first time you experienced this connection issue and how many times since then? Are you having difficulties with the syncing process or with the notifications feature? In the meantime I receive your answers, I recommend you to restart your Alta and make sure that there's no other Bluetooth device nearby that can be causing interference between the Fitbit and your phone.

Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions.

I'm having the same issue, I am unable connect via an Android, iOS, Chromebook, MacBook, or Raspberry Pi. I am also unable to sniff any bluetooth signal via Wireshark. Any feedback or next level of tech support would be great.

Hey There

To answer your questions, I use my IPhone 6 Plus to connect to my Fitbit. The issue started months ago, but I love only decide to try this now. I apologies for that, I’ve found it’s when I’m either at home using it or when I’m out and about somewhere els. I make sure that my other device aren’t connected when I do it, but times I don’t have luck connecting the Alta. Or it just simply disappears off my Bluetooth list, and I either have to check settings for it or let it go as it doesn’t reconnect to Bluetooth.
