Hi @thebuglady  the bands are under warranty when purchased from an authorized retailer. You called support?

Hi. I got it as a Christmas gift.  The person that gave it to me ordered it from fitbit on line. I informed fitbit and they will not help me. I am so upset about that.thebuglady63

@thebuglady Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!

Let me help you with your damaged band. I went ahead and reach out to our Support team for more information before posting here. They informed me that the device is over a year old and outside the warranty period. This is why they couldn't provide a replacement wristband. You can read more about Fitbit's warranty here.

@Odyssey13 thank you for your help here.

Let me know how it goes.

I got one on warranty and they sent it very quickly. Then it broke again. Now they say they don’t have straps in the store. Defective product. Not worth buying.

The band is poorly designed.it has multiple weak points that fail after 6 to 8 months.

Hi @Radomskp  the Alta HR was retired and there are no straps available. You can try a third party band from sellers on Amazon as others have done.

I will give that a try. Thanks. However, ....retired as a defective product. If the company wants loyalty they need to keep parts.

I understand. The bands get little micro tears in rubber and just slip off.
On Amazon they are $7.99.
