While wearing my Alta HR, it began to vibrate incessantly without stopping, and then it died. As soon as I plugged it back in it again to vibrate again constantly. My battery wasn’t low or empty before it died and before this occurred. Has anyone experienced this and if so what did you do?
Plug your charging cable into a USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display. Your tracker will begin charging.
Press the button on your charging cable 3 times within a few seconds, briefly pausing between presses. The button is on the end of the charging cable that is plugged into your computer. When you see the Fitbit logo and the tracker vibrates, this means the tracker has restarted.
My Alta just randomly began to vibrate continuously this morning and charging or pressing the button on the cable did not work. The logo came on and some letter number code and it’s still vibrating! Any other solutions?
Mine did the same thing today. Of course I tried the reset, and it worked after a while. So I thought I was back on track. But then the vibrating started again, and kept on going until the battery was used up. I don't get it. This is my 4th Fitbit in 6-7 years... I like the product, and the phone app, but I don't like the lack of durability.
