Corrupted display

I noticed one day last week that my display on my Alta HR is messed up. It's like the top half is "scrambled". I have gotten it wet or damaged it in any way. 

 

Anyone else have this issue?  Is it fixable?  I've had this fitbit for about a year or so. 


Any help would be appreciated.

Hello try and call 1800 number and see if they replace the display piece. I
had to email pic with number they gave me. Then they sent me replacement.

Just wanted to check in to see if there was any solution discovered for this issue.  I'm assuming it's a hardware and not a software issue, and I'm just going to need to get a newer version and give up on my Alta HR?
