My fitbit Alta doesn't seem to be working. When I plug it in to charge the battery shows that it's charging, but pressing the button 3 times within 4 seconds to reset it (as I read through other peoples help requests) doesn't vibrate/do anything.
As soon as I unplug it, no screen appears & no amount of tapping works.
Please help!
Thanks

I called customer care today and they are sending me a new one since I was still under warranty. But I told them that it appears that multiple people are having the same issue the past two weeks. I think it must be a software update or something. I just think it's weird.

I called them and since my fitbit was still under warranty, they sent me a new/refurbished one. Call before it has been a year.

I do not have a button on my charging cable and the clock does not have the right time. The dashboard and whole site locks up on my computer. It will not sync or anything, The fitbit shows all the things but the correct time but I cannot access any info on the site.

My Alta HR is approximately 14 months old (Christmas present 2018). I'm in regional NSW Australia. Last night the fitbit stopped working about 1 hr after goeing to bed and recorded no information during the night, would not respond to tapping this morning and when trying to sync my phone said no device found - so it was completely dead. When I connected the charger it did respond eventually and when syncing reported 55% charge. I fully recharged it and did the 3 button pushes to reset the device. It worked for most of the day today but was again dead tonight with still 85% charge remaining when it "came to". Pretty poor behaviour for a device only just out of warranty. Other ideas apart from the 3 button pushes?
