My fitbit alta only has charged to 85% been charging all night..is this normal..
And can you change time to 24 hours..

You can choose between 12 and 24 hour clocks in your profile settings at https://www.fitbit.com/settings/profile
Once changed and saved, the next time you sync your fitbit will be updated.
Your charging issue doesn't sound right at all. I wonder if letting it fully discharge then fully charge it again will help. Fitbits troubleshooting guide doesn't mention this particular issue: Help article: Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?
