Unable to setup

Hi, we are together with my fitbit alta for 3 years. For 1 week the mobile phone does not find the device. It is searching for refresh but at the end, it says "no device found". However the application shows battery level truely. I didnt understand what happened. I tried too many things, charging, unpairing etc.

First, I'd like to appreciate your effort and patience troubleshooting this situation prior to posting. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check all the information that's specified on: How do I set up my Fitbit device? to check if all the requirements are correctly configured to setup your device. Then, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes. 

 

Please make sure that your mobile device is compatible because due to a compatibility concern you can experience connection difficulties.

Hi, thanks for your kind response. I want to give you answer 1-1.

 

First, my phone is compatible with fitbit application. It has been already working before. It stopped suddenly.

Also, i can connect and pair any other devices such as my earpods. Namely, there is no problem on the mobile, i believe.

 

When i live a trouble at syncing level, i tried to break the connection between my phone and my band (by choosing unpair). Then the mobile tried to find my band. Yes it done. It could find the band and connect again. But at next step, i mean, when i want to refresh the data over the application it did not work. A cycle turned for a long time and then i see a message: no device found.

 

As a result the problem is this: the mobile can find/see the band and connect. But the application does not sync the data for 1 week. By the way the band is working regularly on band wrist.

I'm having the same issues. It's now going on second week.

I solved it 30 min.ago. Ive stayed like this for 15 days. First uninstall the application then install. It will ask a question about location services. Probably i have changed some properties of application at last weeks. When i allow location case, it worked.
