Difficulties syncing with Android and Windows 10

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Since I am one of the ones that is having issues syncing with Android, I need to sync with my computer. I have a laptop with Windows 10 and a bluetooth installed. My computer is not seeing my Alta HR. I have followed all the steps, restarted my device (both computer and fitbit), uninstalled and reinstalled the app, unpaired and repaired my Alta HR (which did not work at all, the 4 numbers would not show up on the Alta HR).

My bluetooth drivers are up to date, my computer does not see my Alta HR at all, sees my iPod, my Roku, my Firestick, my tv, etc, but not my Alta HR.

Please do not say I need to use the dongle, unless you are going to be giving one to me for free (because that is annoying).

TIA

Hello @ravendragonwing, welcome to the Community Forums!

First, I appreciate your effort and patience for troubleshooting this situation prior to posting, I totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you but I'm here to help you with this. That said, if you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your Android mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed. Also, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.

Keep me posted, I'll be around if you need anything else.

this was a plea for help with my computer, not my Android device.
