I cannot sync my Fitbit because the display stopped working randomly. When I try to resync, it will not allow me to, since I need a 4 digit code it is displaying on a broken screen.
Please help.

Welcome to the Forums @Khansell. Thanks for bringing this up to our attention @DramaQueenDiva!
@Khansell I'd like to ask you some questions to better understand the situation that you are experiencing. Does your Alta HR respond in any way when you put it into the charging cable? Does it vibrate or does the screen light up at that point? Or does nothing happen?
In the meantime I'd like to recommend that you try to follow the steps in this help article. Those steps will let you restart your Alta HR and that might help get the screen to start working correctly.
I look forward to your reply.

My husbands Fitbit has lost its display. Any ideas how to retrieve the display? Fitbit under a year old.

I’ve also had problems just recently. I’ve done the restart process and that worked first couple of times. It’s not helping anymore

I too am having the same problem. Plus my Android phone is not tracking any steps, miles or minutes. I will see if I can reset the actual Fitbit first. I also want to say that for about a few hours, I just thought it was dead, so I put it on the charger and I noticed the green lights inside were dim, but I had a black screen. When the charger was attached it said that it had no charge. Then after charging it overnight, it didn't say it was fully charged (maybe 75%). Now it is stuck on the charging screen and that won't turn off. It is not registering on my app either.

Fitbit no longer seems to hold a charge. Is only recognized when in charging cradle

Bottom line, they are junk. Sorry. I've bought two of these in less than 3 years and I will never buy another one. Customer support's solution was to over me 25% off YET another Fitbit. No thanks. I'm taking my money elsewhere, I'd recommend you all do the same.

It vibrates when I plug it into the cradle and push the button.

I had the same issue and fixed it doing the reset but 3 days in a row the display becomes inactive around the same time 11 am EST and requires a reset on my Alta HR

In the end, I contacted Customer Service and was offered a discount on replacement product in stock. After serious consideration about ordering a third tracker from this company, both previous models had battery problems, I decided to stick with this company for the app. I enjoy the work week hustle community I belong to and the Female Health tracker feature. Going without a device was not an option in my mind due to the Wellness payback from my employers health insurance provider.

I appreciate your opinion. I also was on the fence and in the end decided to accept the discount offered to stay with my Work Week Hustle community.
Hopefully, they can and will address the battery issues in their products as others like you and I may choose differently presented with the problem again in what is believed to be too short of a time span.
