Hello

I synchronised today and my last exercises from yesterday as well as my exercise this morning showed up in the app.

Problem fixed?

As of yesterday evening my exercise showed up for the evening but it didn't log my Tuesday nor my Wednesday morning exercise.  It did log this mornings exercise so I am hoping they have it fixed.

So this happened to me yesterday when working out with a new "machine" (it's actually a game!). It showed I had moderate to intense workout for about half an hour with over 1,000 steps yet NO exercise was logged. I contacted Fitbit Chat about this and they said that because there was stopping during my workout (when I was actually doing leg and arm exercises after jogging!), that it stopped recording after like 7 minutes so it doesn't recognize it. So my whole body was sore, my heart rate/steps/calories burned were ALL tracked but no actual Exercise was recorded 😑

I got my exercise back (not Tuesday though) and my heart rate is way out of whack. It shows a 60 resting bpm as fat burn zone and when it is in the the 70’s and 80’s bpm as peak zone. Can’t stand the inaccuracy. Anyone else having this problem?

I had an issue on Tuesday as well. A good chunk of my steps and recorded activity were there, then just disappeared. I would love to restart my Fitbit, but my cord that came with the unit doesn't have a restart button and the hack I read about on another thread isn't working for me.

Also having the same issue that many are having where text message notifications aren't coming through. I really hope Fitbit fixes these issues without a bunch of workarounds that don't actually work.

This is the cord that came with my alta hr - there is NO reset button, so
why does FITBIT even recommend that an instruction. Makes no sense to me.

You should find the small button on the USB part that actually plugs into your computer. I didn't even realize it was a button until I had to reset mine

I know where the button is supposed to be, but it's not there. I've looked around the forums and a lot of us don't have that button. Thanks, though.

Yay!  Todays exercise is logged!  Somebody must have woken up the Fitbit gurus. Thanks for the support everyone.

Just synced with my Fitbit.  It's not fixed.  For yesterday's Exercise Goals I have two Wednesday's posted.  One is Elliptical (which I don't do) and the other was walking but I changed it to Aerobic Workout.  Then I noticed the time was way off, as was the heart rate.  Time said 24 minutes for one, 33 for the other, and it should be 38 minutes.  The average BPM should be the 126.

Now that I too know where the "reset button" is located, I'll try that.  Hopefully everything is sorted out.

One other question, when I click on the Dashboard here in the Forums, it brings up a previous version of the Dashboard?  Why are there two different dashboard versions?

Thanks.

Well it is Friday and my Tuesday exercise just popped up. Now the problem is that ALL the exercise I have done from Tuesday until today shows my heart rate in the peak zone which was certainly not the case. Have tried everything to get the heart rate back on track even calling Customer Service. They were NO help again, and as they did on Tuesday offered to sell me a new Fitbit at a discount. So, so, so annoying. What the heck is going on????

Well it's Friday for me too, and the aerobics I did has not shown up.  Thursday is there, but where is today.  So tired of these things not syncing.

It’s Saturday, after midnight. Weird! My Tuesday exercises finally showed
up. Nothing that I did. The identified time reference seems to be
correct. I only checked my activity because the App’s Dashboard showed 6
days of activity. Through Friday, the today days of activity was missing
the one day, Tuesday.

It's Saturday, 1-18-2020, the exercise still is not syncing.  It's Day 7 of exercise and my Dashboard is stuck on Day 5.  It's also not calculating the calories in and out correctly.  I did re-start the fitbit several days ago, but apparently that didn't do a thing. Frustrating.

t's now Sunday, 1-19-2020.  Just reset the Fitbit again.  Apparently the last two days of exercise from last week (Friday and Saturday) must be lost.  No word from Admins about this, no corrections, nothing.  Might be time to move on to another tracker.  What a shame.

Bye bye, Fitbit! Your loyal customer since the inception of your first tracker is leaving you forever.

Your corporate stance and behavior are unacceptable. No acknowledgement of any issue on these forums. Here's what that tells me:

  1. You've decided not to support the Alta HR anymore. Thanks for telling us! Unannounced obsolescence is unacceptable. In any case, you could have kept an unupdated version of your app for legacy Alta HR users.
  2. You simply don't care. It's all about numbers. We Alta HR users will just buy a new Fitbit... or enough of us will... to justify your ignoring us. Perhaps... but I don't care to support a company that treats its customers that way.

So many other options out there...
