Fitbit Alta HR stopped syncing and will no longer pair to my phone

Hi, I have a Pixel 3 and an Alta HR. My Fitbit stopped syncing with my phone (even though it was previously working fine). So as many posts have suggested previously, I've turned on and off my bluetooth and phone. I've deleted and re-installed the latest Fitbit App. But to no avail. My Fitbit will no longer sync with my phone. It won't pair with my bluetooth either. I've even deleted the device and tried adding a new device on the App; it finds and recognizes the Alta HR, but then nothing. Please help!

O just posted the same problem, I downloaded the app on my computer and I can manually sync it from that app, I just found on the phone app if from the dashboard you click on your picture or your account and then click on the picture of your device, you can then click on sync now, make sure to have your blu tooth turned on and the little blu tooth they gave you with your device plugged into your computer along with your device. hope this helps you

Thanks for your quick reply. I may be blind, but I can't seem to find where to pair the device on the desktop application.

it will be in the upper right corner or the lower left corner, click on what looks like a picture of an I D Card, there you will find a picture of your device, click on that and then click on sync now, make sure to have the small blu tooth device and your watch plugged into the computer also

I don't seem to see that ID card like icon that you speak of because my device is not paired. Could that be? Ugh.

To be clear, it just recently stopped syncing so I unpaired it to try to solve the issue. Now it won't pair with my phone anymore.

Do you have the little blu tooth device and do you have it plugged into your computer along with your watch?

Ummm, no. I have the original Fitbit charging cable plugged into both the watch and my computer. Is there something else I need? I'm sorry for all the questions but I really appreciate all your insight and help!

you also need the toggle that came with your device, it has to be plugged into your computer also, it is what I keep calling a blu tooth device, it connects the blu tooth to your phone app. once it is connected open the app to today, pull down on the screen for about 2 seconds let go and the the fitbit will sync to your device, sorry it took me awhile to answer, it would not let me reply until now
