Fitbit Alta not counting steps

I have tried resetting my alta but the device refuses to reboot.  Unfortunately the original charger had broken and I am using another alta charger to try to reboot the tracker.

 

Any suggestions how I can get my alta to count my steps again.

 

I love my alta and I hope that I do not have to buy another device to replace it because I love the size and the current slender and streamlined shape it has.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi @ame8888  only the authentic Fitbit charger has the restart button on it. Are you able to restart the device with the other charger ? Unless you can restart it, it's hard to get it going again.
