I received Fitbit Alta as a birthday gift it had a silicone band, after a few months the band began to become loose and i almost lost it. I put it in storage temporarily now, bought a new band, recharged it and it last 1/2 day and turns off. On the Fitbit app it still shows batterie full but it can’t find it. I’m extremely disappointed. I’m a senior and was using this as an exercise tool in this horrible time.

A couple things jump out @Montreal55
How long has the Alta been sitting dead?
The battery may be destroyed.
As for syncing, is the Alta still connected to your Fitbit account?
Have you restarted the Alta? The phone? Removed the Alta from your phones Bluetooth.
As for battery level on the app, that was the level during the last sync? How long ago does the app say the last sync was?
