Fitbit is charging and syncing on iPhone but device screen shows empty battery

Hi everyone - I have scoured previous posts and can't seem to find a solution to my exact problem. 

 

My Alta HR is showing up in my phone as 100% battery and that it is syncing. However, the device screen is completely blank when I tap on it. I have tried resetting it, but every time I do that it shows the Fitbit logo, version number, and then goes to an icon of a battery with an exclamation point inside. It has been on the charger for at least 3 hours.

 

I have tried resetting about 12 times now, tried turning my phone on and off and updating the Fitbit app on my phone. Nothing is working. 

 

Any ideas, friends?

Hello @vmiller2 and a warm welcome.  When you go through the restart, does your Alta HR vibrate like it is supposed to?  And is your device counting steps despite the face staying blank?

 

You might get help faster by contacting Support.  I am also moving your post to the Alta HR forum.  This appears to be a device problem, not an app problem.
