About a week ago my HR stopped tracking at night- error saying it couldn’t track it consistently while I sleep and today after charging the green light switches to solid and won’t turn off. It’s like a UFO in my room at night and gets super warm. I’ve turned it on and off, tried restarting, and called the help desk who said this is part of a new update. Anyone else seeing this??

Me too!!! I tried turning off the heart rate monitor, and also setting it to auto. I’ve restarted it many times. Nothing has helped and I’ve just stopped wearing it at night because it’s so dang bright.

My Alta HR stopped working last night!
I was charging it and now the green lights are continuous and the only image on the screen is the level of battery charge.
Have has this Fitbit for 3 years and never an issue before yesterday!

Same thing happened to me and after about a week of back and forth with the company they finally agreed to send me a replacement. It took them so much "troubleshooting" I thought my warranty was going to run out while they wasted time! They previously replaced another device for me when it was faulty, and they've replaced the band for this one last year, and I'm already needing a new band. Not super high quality products, I'll definitely switch brands next time.

Same! I use my Fitbit as a night light when I'm walking around my house at night because the green lights are THAT bright. They also heat up so badly that it started to burn my skin. I'm just used to the tingling now so I don't even pay it any mind. At night, I have to stick my right arm under the pillow because the light is so bright that if I reach up to, say, rub my face or something in my sleep then the light will wake me up. I contacted support and asked them how to get the lights to turn off and they just like...didn't even answer my questions lol Like, yes. Okay lol My Fitbit is burning my skin. Awesome. However comma! Not what I wanted help with lol I just wanted to know how to fix it so I could use it again and not have to charge it every five seconds
