I have a Fitbit Alta (not Alta HR). The band broke today. I bought this thru Amazon, not directly from Fitbit. I bought it in Oct. of last year (about 7 months).
Asking this question here instead of going on Live Chat because I think I'll get a faster response in the forum than from the Live Chat.
What is the length of warranty for this model?

Or go on Amazon and by a new band for under $10

Hi @Goyim one year in the US and two in some European Union countries. Click here to file a claim on your device's in-warranty Fitbit band. Let us know what happens.

Hi @Goyim - You can read the details on the warranty here but in summary, in the US, there is a limited warranty for a period of one year for new devices. The Alta is an older model. If it was used, it is out of warranty. The best thing for you to do is contact Fitbit Support directly.

This is not a used Fitbit. It was new but it was bought through a 3rd party seller on Amazon. I have the receipt (in my Amazon account).
I will try to file a claim.
