How to setup new Fitbit.

Lost my Fitbit 3 and bought a new one.  Already have an account.  Setup assumes I’m still connected to the lost one.  How to set up the new one?

Do 'Add a New Device'.  It will say something like 'You already have one connected. Is this a replacement?'  Just answer 'yes', and continue.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Thanks but where do I find "add a new device" please?

I figured you were there since you said what setup assumes. (Oops, different people.)

 

On phone app logged into same account/email, tap profile pic at top left to get to 'Account' page; then scroll down a bit to 'Set up a Device' - I had the wording a bit off.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
