My Alta HR, which is 3 or 4 years old (pre-pandemic vintage in any case), started buzzing non-stop in the middle of the night. I connected it to the cable and tried a restart.
It did restart, but then immediately begins buzzing again, and the screen displays an empty battery symbol with an exclamation point within it.
From what I've read here on the forums, I think this might mean my Alta is at end-of-life. Am I correct in thinking that?
Also, what device is the best replacement, since I know they've discontinued the Alta? I don't like big clunky things on my wrist, and I really like how easy the Alta was to use. Suggestions?

@BuzzingAlta I think you're correct that your Alta HR is at the end of its life. Mine did the same thing in the end. Yours picked a good time to do this, because you'll be able to take advantage of the Black Friday sales.
You may want to consider the Inspire 3. It is currently on sale for $70. It's a small device, like the Alta, but it has a lot more features. It also has a color display that is bright enough to read outdoors in direct sunlight.
