Inconsistent sleep tracking

This is the second Alta HR that I’ve purchased. I replaced the last one because of inconsistent sleep tracking. Well here we go again! I’ve only had this one for a little over a year. And now this one is repeating poor performance in the area of sleep tracking as well. It continues to track my heart rate all night long, but several nights a week, I get no sleep tracking whatsoever. I’ve restarted it multiple times. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled the app. I’ve disconnected it from my Bluetooth and reconnected it to my Bluetooth. It’s not too loose or too tight on my arm.  Can anyone recommend something else that I might try? This is getting more frequent and I’m very frustrated. This makes 4 Fitbits that I’ve owned and I’ve been disappointed in all of them after about a year or so. I’m about to change brands. Any ideas?

I have the same issue except I haven't gotten a sleep score in over 3 weeks after an update. I was hoping a recent update would correct the problem, but it hasn't. I even tried cleaning the sensor to see if that would help, again, it didn't. I keep getting the reason for not getting a sleep score because the tracker couldn't get a consistent heart rate; however, the heart rate tracker shows data from all night. My Alta HR is about two years old now. I'm starting to believe that products like these are made to last around a year to force an upgrade to the latest model!
