My FitBit Alta HR just decided to stop working. I’ve tried charging it and no response. Charger still new. I’ve only had this Fitbit for about 3 years. Any advice on what to do?

Hi @Blackbott1e - That Alta HR was one of my favorite Fitbit devices! Sorry to hear about the problem you are having with it. The only thing I can suggest is to restart it. Tap here for instructions. You will know it restarted successfully when it vibrates and you see the Fitbit logo. Please let us know if that helps.

Hi, same issue for me and restart procedure does not change anything. Device works while connected to USB but after disconnected and stopping tapping on it, dies until next cable connection. Looks to be a pandemy Alta these days according to various posts and would need analysis from Fitbit...

My Alta was misplaced during our move last year. I was so excited when I found it this morning. I popped it on the charger and went about my day. Came back hours later, and it was only charge to 80%, and the tap only works when connected to the charger. My original charger bit the dust a long while ago, so I'm not even sure if a reboot is possible. I see a lot of folks in the forum with similar issues, but I'm not seeing many posts about successfully resolving the issue. Kind of disappointed because I own a much more expensive tracker, and really preferred this one.

I have same problem
I got no answer!
Tried to contact support and they offer a 35% discount voucher for a new product. It's ridiculous.
