I got a fitbit Alta for my birthday. It works great most of the time. A couple of times it will stop working for no reason. I get nothing when I tap on it almost like the battery is dead. When I connect it to the charger (not pressing any buttons) it lights right up and usually is over half changed. But it has completely reset the time and date. It has done this several times. I have tried resetting it and checked all my settings in the fitbit app. What is wrong with my fitbit???

Hi @kikiishi16 - Sorry to hear about these issues. Was your birthday less than a year ago? And did the person who gave it to you purchase it from an authorized Fitbit retailer? If yes to both questions, your device may be covered under warranty. Contact Support to find out for sure.

I'm having the exact same issue. I def am not under warranty anymore, I think I have had mine 2 years.
