Well, it is ready for the trash. In a matter of 30 seconds, while on the charger, it will show full charge, 50% charge and charging, then will shut off! I have reset it 40 times and that doesn't help. When I do get it working and put it on, it doesn't last 30 minutes, if that! And from the lack of reply from Fitbit, maybe it's time to try Garmin. Viviofit 4 is very comparable as far as features to the Alta. On sale for $49, batteries last 1 year+, and you can replace the batteries. Something to think about Fitbit!
