Reset Alta HR

Someone gave me their fitbit and I would like to reset it can anyone help

Hi @Irish32 - are you looking to set this device up to your Fitbit account?  Here is what has to happen to make that possible.

  1. The original owner has to open their Fitbit app and tap Account -> Alta HR -> Remove device. They also have to remove the Alta HR from their phone’s Bluetooth settings. 
  2. Then you have to download the Fitbit app to your phone and sign in. Make sure your Alta HR is fully charged then in your app, tap Account -> Set Up a Device. Follow the instructions from there. 

Here is a link to the Alta HR manual which will have more detailed instructions. That was always one of my favorite devices. Hope you get it working. Please let us know.
