My alta suddenly turned off and won't tap back on. From reading other info it seems like the only thing to do is reset it. I am away from my charger for the weekend. Is there a way to reset it without using a charger? Or is there anything else I can do to fix this issue??

You do need to have the charging cable in order to do a restart. Here are the directions - click

 

If you happen to be around a Best Buy, the Geek Squad often helps Fitbit users by letting them use the charger. Can't hurt to try.

My Alta is doing this daily now. There is plenty of charge on the battery and there seems to be no reason. I have to put it on the charger to restart. Very annoying that I can't factory reset it.
