About 5 yrs ago I bought my Alta fitbit and was satisfied with it except for having to keep replacing straps.So I decided to buy Charge3 which was fine for about a year when the screen started breaking up. Each time I checked my progress there where lines across the screen and I could not read anything. So I decided to buy Fitbit Ionic. Everything was fine until yesterday after about 18 months when I got home after my daily walk I found that the screen had fallen out somewhere on my walk. And only a week ago I bought a leather strap which cost me over £30. It so happens I still have my Alta. So I went on Amazon and bought myself 2 straps and this will be what I will use forever. All the money I have spent on upgrades and I am now back to my cheap and faithful Alta. The straps can wear out as much as they want.No more upgrades for me.
