Treadmill workout

I've used my Alta HR to track many of my road runs. But due to changing circumstances I've had to switch to running on a treadmill and can't get my Alta HR to recognise the distance that I'm running. Can anyone help?

Hello @emlilma Welcome to the Community Forums!. Thank you very much for the information regarding the experience with your Fitbit tracker. 

 

Treadmill can be difficult because there may not be sufficient forward motion. On a side note, when you track this exercise, does your Alta HR records the activity automatically using SmartTrack?. If so, SmartTrack will not calculate the distance element of any workout. You can log this manually by following the steps here: How do I add, edit, or delete Fitbit data and activities?
