Unable to login

I got a new iPhone. Once I download the app, it gives me only one choice to access my account, this is via set up. Asks for name, email etc. When I enter this, it says “user already exists”!!

 

Yes, I’m aware! But I’m not given a choice to simply login. Only option is “setup”. 

My ultimate objective is to change the time on my Fitbit.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and the details that were shared in your post, seems odd that you're unable to login to your Fitbit account.  To better assist you with this, please force quit the Fitbit app, open the Fitbit app again and send me a screenshot of what you see. You can refer to this post for instructions of how to attach an image into your post.

 

In regards charging time, let me share with you that our Fitbit devices use your mobile device information to display the time with the syncing process, therefore, by simply syncing your Alta HR it should display the time that's configured on your mobile device.

 

However, this may be fixed by updating the time zone setting in your Personal Settings. For step-by-step instructions, please see our help article: How do I change the time on my Fitbit device? for more information.

Glad to get your reply. When I invoked the app today, it allowed me to 'login', over forcing me to create a new account earlier. GREAT. And the sync just completed, the fitbit time has refreshed and is correct - thanks for the clear instructions!
