Perhaps I'm wrong in what I'm about to post but I don't think so.... I have been a staunch Fitbit user/proponent for numerous years now... in fact, just bought a new 'Inspire' for a family member's birthday but think I'll return it. Because, I am now, apparently, not able to set up my current Fitbit Alta HR on my new computer. Please, if I'm wrong, I am most happy to apologize ... however, everytime I go to the setup site to try to download the app to my new computer, it does not work. So... off to buy from their competitor!

Thanks for the details that were shared in your post, I totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check all the information that's specified on: How do I set up my Fitbit device? to check if all the requirements are correctly configured to setup your device with your new computer.
