fitbit alta burn

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have a burn on my wrist where the alta battery outlet would have sat.  I woke up with it sunday morning after sleeping with my alta on.  I have taken pictures but not sure how to add them to this site

Has this happened to anyone else?

This happens to me when I don't let my wrist breathe.  Make sure you wipe it and switch wrists once in a while.  I usually switch to my dominant hand when i'm home (since i don't get a lot of steps in the house).  I find that if I get moisture beneathe my fitbit and do not wipe it off, the next day I have redness on my wrist.

I suggest cleaning it and switching wrists for a a day or two so your wrist can breathe and heal then going back to your regular routine.

Hope this helps!  Let us know how this works out for you.

I just experienced a burn today from the charging port. And yes, I do clean the bands and it’s not a rash. The port should not have any skin contact....period!!!

It just haooened to me recently as well, and now my alta won't charge at all. I've always kept it clean, too

This happened to me as well. I take mine off every once in a while and keep it clean. I also have a picture of my wrist. Fairly painful too 😞
