my alta shuts off

mine shuts off even when the battery is fully charged got it last January

Mine does too. Will light up and show stuff if it’s plugged in and shows it’s fully charged but as soon as I unplug it, it stops responding, won’t sync up or show the display. It’s about a year and a half old.
