Is there anyway to change settings to compensate for pushing a stroller.  It only tracks a portion of total steps when I push a stroller.

It often has trouble detecting steps when the wrist is held steady pushing a stroller, shopping cart, or holding treadmill hand rail.

You can probably get a better step count putting the tracker in a pocket or somehow clipped to clothing.  For some trackers, that loses heart rate but that's not an issue for the Alta.

Thank you!  I actually just put it on my ankle and works perfectly!

Glad to hear that.

Make sure to wear a sock over it so it can't fall off and get lost.
