hi Guys
I have dug out my 2 year fitbit flex and download the android app on my smartphone. When I go to sync it picks it up but will not complete as it asks t tap the device to confirm which I believe cannot be done with the old device. Therefore I cannot complete the setup. anu help appreciated

Since you haven't used your Flex in a while, it would be best to restart it, which is similar to rebooting a computer. Follow the procedure and do it three times to ensure it's done. click
Did you see the video from @Craig on how to clean the Flex tracker and charger? It might be a good idea to clean things up a bit.
The Flex had a firmware update, so you might want to do that, too. Click to learn how.
