3-31-2021 - Still have sync issues with Android

I am still having sync issues with Android.  I know a previous thread said that this was resolved by the newest release of the Android app but that is not the case.  I get the 'gathering info' message when trying to sync followed by the error that the watch could not sync.  I turn off bluetooth on my phone, reboot the watch, force close the android app, turn bluetooth back on and it works.  Unfortunately the connection only lasts for a matter of minutes then I have to re-do this whole process again.  This is unacceptable.

Unfortunately, there's nothing that can be done. Not that the latest update/s fixed the issue, but made things far worse, with more and more people complaining syncing is dead for them. All tips, support, nothing helps. And the worse part is that it doesn't seem they acknowledge it, or are capable of fixing the issue.

 

Back in the days it wasn't great but tolerable, now for months already the situation got unacceptable indeed
