Hi @Axman_NC thanks for bringing this to my attention, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums, welcome back.
You should be able to send another invitation since there is a limit 10 challenges at this moment. To better assist you with this situation, can you please let me know what model of mobile device or computer are you using? Also, what version of the Fitbit app are you using? When was the first time you experienced this?
I'll be waiting for your reply.
Best AnswerI found a work-around...Go to your "Account" or "Profile" page and select "Badges and Trophies". Then select "Trophy Collection". Once you get to there, you can start a challenge. BTW, FitBit has reduced the number of allowable active challenges to 5 (down from 10). An "Adventure" counts toward the total.

Hey @SunsetRunner thanks for your post, my apologies for the delay in responding your post.
I appreciate the workaround that was shared in your post, I'm sure that this information will be helpful for other users that are experiencing a similar situation or have the same question. Don't hesitate to contact me back if you need anything else, I'll be around.
Thanks for being part of the Fitbit family!
Not all users have that option...strange. I can not start a challenge from that page.
As I look through these forums, it appears that this has been an issue for many users, for several months.
Discouraging.
I hate it!!! I recently got the update and now it doesn't allow me challenges!!! I have only three or four active but the button to invite to more challenges is disable, grayed out.
My FitBit is Versa and phone is Samsung Note8
To be if a challenge is over and people synchronized their FitBit and the 12 hour after it's over ended, then it's not an active challenge.
A lot of people are switching to Apple Watch, so FitBit needs to improve the experience instead of limiting the challenges
I am so sick of Fitbit Inc crap. From crappy products to crap support. The only reason I still have one is for the community which fitbit now seems to put pointless limits on. Think it's time for a Garmin.
Fitbit moderators, don't bother replying to this. I am sick of your replies as if our opinion matters. I have not seen a single one of your responses to our issues result in any change.
I suggest everyone stop spending money on Fitbit products, when their quarterly revenue starts dropping, perhaps they will listen.
I don't have that option either. I'm currently in three active challenges and two of them are waiting on one person to sync. And I captain a WWH team that starts tomorrow and I can't even start the challenge. I'm beginning to think I need to switch brands of tracker
I would like to comment on this as I am having the same issue. I have had daily issues with the Fitbit app since they updated it and they seem to be doing nothing about it!
Regarding this issue I logged out of the app (not closed it) but actually logging out. Then logged back in again and I was able to invite people. I don't know how long this will last but I know how to get around it now'.
Best AnswerThe same thing is happening to me. I have no challenges going on and I'm getting that message. Frustratinh
Best AnswerI’ve been having the same issue; started last week. I’m only in 3 active challenges. Fitbit Flex2. iPhone 8.
Also, my completed challenges aren’t rolling off the list and I am unable to delete them.
