Ad blocker preventing the app from connecting to a network

No issue connecting to network on the phone.  Problem exists due to use of adblocker blocking Fitbit's app connecting to a remote server for some unknown reason.  What mis-coding in the Fitbit app that happened that an adblocker would prevent the app to connect to a network?  Need the Fitbit app to connect while running an adblocker, Fitbit runs no ads, so why the issue??

I see where your disappointment is coming from. Since you're using an adblocker, it's recommended to disable it or whitelist our Fitbit site, this to ensure that a network connection could be established.
