Adjusting Sleep

I know I can take logged sleep and adjust the time. What I would like to do is keep the time and assign it to a different day.

I tend to sleep in two chunks. If my first chunk is from 10:30 pm Monday to 12:30 am Tuesday, everything is fine and those two hours are assigned to the Tuesday sleep. If I then sleep from 2:00 am to 6:00 am, my total Tuesday sleep is 6 hours.

However, If the first chunk is from 9:30 pm Monday to 11:30 pm Monday, and I then sleep from 2:00 am to 6:00 am, it adds the early sleep to Monday and only logs 4 hours of Tuesday sleep.

I am aware I could just manipulate the hours and said I slept from 12:00 am. to 6:00 am, but that is less accurate than I would like to be. Is there any way to keep the log accurate, but assign it to a new day?

Thanks!

Hi there @karla3000. Good to see you in the Fitbit Community! 😄

You can totally do this. Go into your Sleep tile and you should see the sleep logs. Tap on the one you'd like to edit and in the new screen, you will see a little pencil at the top right corner. Tap on it and this will take you to a screen to edit it. Choose on the sleep start, the new date you want to move it to (which I suppose will be the next day) and be sure to move the time evenly. For example, if the sleep log was from 9:30 pm to 11:30 pm on  the previous day, move it from 12:00 am to 2:30 am Now, it will overlap for 30 minutes, so you can also edit your next sleep record and in the start time just move it 30 minutes later or you can also adjust the first sleep log to 2:00 am.

Hope this answers your question. If you need more help, let me know!
