My Fittbit does a terrible job counting floors. I cannot manually add them (and based on other posts, you don't care to add that feature), but I also cannot set the daily goal to 0. Today, I did the equivalent of 30 floors on my treadmill and got credit for 0 floors. It seems to be extremely random when it does give me floors at all.

Hello @SunsetRunner and welcome to the Help forum.  Fitbit uses a relative altimeter that senses a change in barometric pressure to detect floors.  Your 30 "floors" on the treadmill aren't detected because you never changed your altitude.  That said, I agree that a wrist worn Fitbit can miss floors.  I have lived in the same house for over thirty years.  No wrist worn Fitbit has ever counted floors like my original Fitbit One.

I am writing as a fellow user as I have no inside knowledge as to why Fitbit decides to do certain things.  Counting floors doesn't add to calorie burn.  It seems to be more of a "fun" achievement.  We are encouraged to take the stairs for good heath.  Even if we were allowed to add floors, things like added floors or added steps don't count towards lifetime achievement badges.  There doesn't seem to be a point to adding missed floors.  You wrote about not getting credit for floors, but your title says delete floors.  Do you just want to remove the floor icon from your mobile app?  Tap on the Edit button, then the "x" on the floor icon to remove the icon.

I am an iPhone user and I can set my floor goal to 0.

LZeeW,

As an Android user, I cannot set my daily goal to 0. In fact, there are many things that cannot be set to 0 or entered as a 0, including calories for things such as unsweetened tea. I want to be able to remove floors as a goal as it never records them correctly, so there is no point in having them. I have spent hours in the past going up and down actual stairs in stairwells, not getting credit for them, either. But, if I get off the couch often enough in an hour, I do get the occasional floor. I have removed it from my app main screen, but I cannot remove them from certain parts of my Versa's screen, so I have a constant 0 reminder whenever I scroll through.
