My Fitbit Alta HR was perfectly fine with pixel 3. I used to have occasional issues when Fitbit won't sync, but restart of Phone/Bluetooth was usually able to fix the problem. However this time when my Fitbit stopped syncing with my phone, i tried restarts a bunch of times, but it still did not work. So I decided to unpair and pair my fitbit again with my phone. But after I unpairing, I was never able to repair. I have updated the Fitbit app, used the Fitbit charger to restart Fitbit but no success.
When I try to re-pair on my phone using Fitbit app, my Fitbit device is able to receive the 4 digit code from my phone, but once I enter the code I see the error message after a few seconds asking me to try again. I have tried this several times with and without plugging my Fitbit to the charger and I don't have any other device nearby.

Exact same problem (Pixel 3 + Alta HR). I just tweeted at @FitbitSupport and linked to this thread. Let's see if they respond.

Too slow for me, I have opted for a Google smart watch at a 10th of the price, Fitbit was a waste of money and time.

I've been going around and around with Fitbit support and have gotten nowhere fast in getting my alta hr pair with my Pixel 3 xl. I guess it's time to find something new. 😞

Ok all... apparently I'm behind the times so now I have a question.. if Google bought Fitbit, then why in the world are we not able to sync alta hr and pixel 3 xl?!?!

I seem to have had some success with reconnecting my FitBit... I removed the "MobileTrack" "device" from my Fitbit account settings, rebooted my Android, then removed and re-added my Alta HR. We'll see if it makes it 24 hours... but fingers crossed...
