Android 8.0 gps tracker problems

I change phone from Samsung Galaxy S6 ( Android 7 ) to Samsung Galaxy S9 with Android 8.0 

Now the GPS tracking is not working when waking, cykling or running.

Map is showing way to short distance and missing most of the track. Or not even showing any position at all. 

Gps trackThis worked very well with android 7.

Efter explaning my issue 3 times to the support thay recognised this as an known issue, witt no sulution at all present. 

 

Is this a tempory problem or shall i demand a refund?
