Android App steps missing

Hello,

The step icon in the app says zero steps. When I tap it, "today" also says zero steps. If I tap "today" then my steps are present. So fitbit is recording my steps (and synching them with other apps), but the step count isn't showing on the main two screens.

I have the latest version of the app, the Fitbit device itself works fine, the device is paired, and it does seem to sync ok. I have tried rebooting the phone and turning bluetooth off and on. Floors, cals, miles, minutes...all display correctly--but zero steps. This started yesterday and continues today.

Any thoughts?

This seems to be a known bug at the moment. Keep an eye on the following thread which has the latest updates from fitbit:

I am also having this problem.  It started yesterday on the 10th of August.  Steps are recording on my pc dashboard and displayed on my fitbit.  My android app is showing zero. I have logged out, rebooted my phone, logged back in.  I uninstalled the app, then reinstalled the app.  Logging back in at first it shows my steps, but as soon as the next syn finished, the steps were back to zero. Yesterday's steps do show when I click back to view them.
