Tried to remove the Bluetooth paring due to issues with syncing. Bad idea of me since now my android won’t feel/find my fitbit charge 4..
Best AnswerEstoy totalmente de acuerdo. Cuando nos van a dar respuesta????
Fitbit, are you even reading these messages?? It's been days now and we've heard nothing from you.
We're all sitting here with very expensive pieces of equipment rendered useless.
Seriously, this problem with notifications from android have been going on too long now. Thought it was just a problem I had before I found this. Sucks that I’ve made it worse by trying to reset everything..
At first I thought it is due to my issue and went reset both my device and phone application. Now then realised it is due to the software originally. If I know that earlier I won't be wasting my time figuring out. Please give us an answer when this is fixed.
Best AnswerSame here.Sense user facing same issue and not fixed yet.
Best AnswerGood morning. I noticed the issues Thursday, June 17th. I thought it was because I was in the mountains w/limited cell/wifi coverage. I tried the suggested fixes but to know avail. My Android phone tells me I need the app to sync, which I have. I've logged onto the webbased page and its says I don't have anything paired. Everything I try to do via the app or webpage will not add my Versa. I hope Android and/or Fitbit can resolve the issue. I've used the product for years without issue. Now the time and date are wrong, can even use it at a watch. 😞
Hi Silvia,
I own a Charge 3 (which was replaced by Fitbit almost a year ago, since my previous died). I.e. I've managed to keep my second one alive about 1 year.
Thank for your suggestion.
After appr. 2 weeks with either a fast draining battery, all black screen, Fitbit logo/error code 001, I carried out what you recommended:
- Force quit the app - Open it - Let the app sync
Since yesterday early evening, I get the message in the app "gathering your data"...
The only change is, that each day I get an update of the total number of calories (1477 cal./day).
No update on my workout, no update on my sleeping etc. I guess that this is familiar to many of the Fitbit users in this forum.
I'm unable to judge whether my experiences are due to a mistake on your (Fitbit as a company) or if my tracker is broken 😞
How to proceed? Shall I contact the support center by phone to register an errand?
I am also considering simply dumping my Charge 3 and look for another brand. Though it's not a cheap device the energy and frustration may be my decision trigger.
Best AnswerWe are all having these problems right now. My Charge 4 is the same. At least the fitbit is still recording my steps etc. I hope they get this sorted out soon!
I have an android and my notifications haven't been working the past few days. I have force quit the app, uninstalled the app and reinstalled as well as deleted my Versa 2 from the app and readded. I've also been trying to send the test call notification and that isn't working either. Additionally, the Amazon Alexa not working is still an issue.
Hi,
Is there any update on this? I preordered a luxe - it was delayed a few weeks and now it’s finally arrived and I can’t link it. I get a message about my android connection which is weird as I’m joining via iPhone. It sounds like it’s taking a while to fix and is pretty frustrating.
If I delete and reinstall the app will I lose my data?
Thanks
Best AnswerThat’s not working for me
Best AnswerSince the new update I am no longer able to get messages or calls on my Versa 3. I have done everything deleted the app reinstalled it and shut my Versa 3 off and then back on nothing works. It doesn't stay connected to my blue tooth at all. Anyone else having this issue.
Having the same problem with Fitbit syncing to my Android. The time display is also always incorrect & slow by about 10 minutes (almost caused me to miss a meeting last week!). I only started noticing this happening a little over a week ago.
